The 2016 edition of CES, the largest
technology trade show held in Las Vegas every year, is doing all manufacturers
present their innovations to market in all fields, including photography.
Coinciding with the exhibition, Canon has
introduced a long list of new products mainly still cameras (Ixux and
Powershot) and video (Legria) and (SELPHY) printer.
Among them we have come to our attention
the new superzoom Canon PowerShot SX540 HS a bridge camera with a focal length
equivalent of 24-1200 mm or what is the same, a zoom with a 50X power.
This camera is equipped with a sensor size
1 / 2.3-inch, six DIGIC processor and 21.1-megapixel captures images. Its
sensitivity ranges from ISO 80 to 3,200 and can shoot bursts at 4.4 frames per
second.
As with all camera called bridge, it is a
device intended any use for those who do not want to transport heavy equipment
and want however have the opportunity to capture photographs in all
circumstances, from a small internal or a large building, a bird or a wild animal
in the distance. Naturally, the price of having these huge optical
possibilities in a small space, is that the sensor is small enough so that the
possibilities for expansion are more reduced as the quality of the pixels,
despite being much (21.1 Mp) suffers.
Video recording with this camera can do
with a quality Full HD MP4 and has a dynamic stabilization system IS for 5-axis
stabilized camera images while recording in hand.
As usual, the Canon PowerShot SX540 HS
offers users a wide range of automatic recording modes designed for all kinds
of situations. Image recording is performed in jpg.
